Talk Electronics Thunder 3.1B SE CD Player

The Thunder 3.1B uses a 24 bit/192 kHz upsampler from the swiss company Anagram Technologies. This is the heart of the 3.1 player. It results in a player which has a sense of timing and weight without losing its airy quality.

The benefit of upsampling is that the same information is being described by using approximately 5 times the number of points in time, so, quite simply, it is more accurate. The Thunder 3.1B is available in both single ended or variable balanced configuration.

The bottom line, however, is the sound and this truly is a sonic gem. Imaging is detailed and pinpoint with a rock solid soundstage. Frequency response is extended both at the bottom and the top and the overall sound quality is sweet, yet controlled throughout the sound spectrum. Talk Electronics developed this speaker cable for their 2.2 range of electronics. It is so new that it has not yet been reviewed but reviews are pending!! Designed by the former Cable Talk designer it is sure to be a great success.

I can assure you that it is very good and will easily see off the competition at double the price, you will not be dissapointed. It has 6 internal cores three red/three black so it can be comfigured for single or bi-wired use. The outer jacket is a deep Green colour and is a nominal 8mm in diameter
